The Notary Public draws up one form of authentic act which is the public deed. Other authentic acts such as acts of civil status issued by the Public Registry also have the same probative value and are proof of their own content. All authentic acts, whether drawn up by Notaries or issued by other public officers, have the same probative force since they are all proof of their own content.
